The FBCPG Worship Ministry also offers special events for musical and non-musical participants throughout the year.
Journey through Bethlehem – Journey through Bethlehem is a broad-reaching, church-wide ministry that began in 2008. Spearheaded by the Worship Ministry, and involving each of the FBCPG ministry areas, Journey through Bethlehem is an event which uses extensive staging, costuming, drama, and multimedia to transform much of the church campus into first century Bethlehem, offering guests a unique look back at the events that surrounded the Birth of Christ.
This walk-through Nativity drama features a different theme each year and provides opportunities for participation through drama, costuming, staging, food preparation, hospitality, and many other areas. Individuals are encouraged to volunteer for the area of service that best fits their skills and interests.
JTB 2011 will represent our 4th annual presentation of this event, and will take place Wednesday November 30 through Sunday, December 4, 2011.
Other special events have included the Living Lord’s Supper and appearances by guests artists such as Larnelle Harris, Babbie Mason, The Lamb Family violin ensemble and Julian Drive Christian band.
