About me:

I have been coming to church at FBC Pleasant Grove since I was born in 1972.  I have served here as Education Assistant working under Bro. Bob Pruett for a year now and I love my job.  I knew God had a plan for me and I am so glad He wanted me to serve here at the Church I love so much.

 I have been married to my husband Ken for 17 years and we have two children, Kensley (15) and Kade (4).  Before coming to work here I was a stay at home mom for 3 years and prior to that I worked at UAB for 10 years.

Some of my job duties include: church newsletter, Sunday bulletin, website, food pantry and benevolence, Adult Sunday School, Church Calendar, etc…

Things I like to do:  Spend time with my family, read, shop, go to the beach, collect recipes, and cook!

An unknown fact about me:  I was voted “Most Bashful” my senior year in high school for Who’s Who!

Favorite Verse:  Well, it’s a chapter actually! Proverbs 31

Best advice my mom ever gave me:  Don’t be afraid to stand up for what you believe and be who you are not who they want you to be.
