·         Married to the Barbara Pollock of Jonesboro, Arkansas on June 27, 1970

·         Father of two children; Jennifer Leigh Pruett Guffey of Pleasant Grove, and Jodi Beth Pruett Posey of Pelham.

·         Grandfather  of  Emma Grace, Hannah Elizabeth and Samuel Wyatt Guffey, Jacob Robert Posey.

 

 

II.                SPIRITUAL

·         Accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord at age 12 – 1960 and joined First Baptist Church of Rector, Arkansas

·         Surrendered to Full Time Ministry at age 20 – 1968 at Siloam Springs Baptist Encampment, Siloam Springs, Arkansas

·         Ordained to the Gospel Ministry in January 1971 by First Baptist Church, Rector, Arkansas.

 

 

III.             EDUCATION

·         Graduated from Rector High School, May 1966

·         Graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Music Education, January 1971. Barbara graduated with same degree.

·         Graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Religion Education, June 1974, all electives in Theology.
