Learn More About Jesus

Where she is from:  Ginnie Sue was born in Chicago, Illinois (Dad was in Optometry School)  She grew up in Ensley and has 5 brothers and sisters.

Her Ministry Story:  She felt God calling her into some form of ministry when she was around 12.  Little did she know that He was going to give her a minister husband and put her in an inner-city teaching position for 30 years.  Her first love has always been children. 

Her Ministry: She loves ministering to the young children here at First Baptist Church as the Director of the Daycare/Kindergarten.

Her family:  Ginnie and her husband Alan, have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

Favorite pastime:  Playing Golf, loves music, sings in the choir, ensembles and plays handbells.

Little known fact:  She knows all the best places in town to get hot fudge sundaes.

Advice to others:  Enjoy each day God gives you.  They are precious gifts.

Life Verse:  Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.
