Adult Ministry
Adults at First Baptist are given many options and many opportunities for growth
in the Lord. The Sunday Morning Bible Study offers a variety of class sizes and
teachers to meet the needs of the individuals. The adult, looking for just the
right place to grow in the Lord, will find classes of all sizes, and teachers
using different approaches in their teaching style.
The Adult Division is divided into Age Graded Classes, in which you would be
studying the Bible together with those of similar age. Or the adult may opt
to decide to go into an ungraded class made up of adults young and old studying
God's Word together. As you will read below the Adult Ministry also offers Cell
Groups which, for some, may become their core group and provide for their Bible
Study need.
Discipleship is a major part of the growth of adults at First Baptist. Along
with the Women's Ministry, the Men's Ministry and the Discipleship Ministry,
adults at FBC have many opportunities to study and grow deeper in the Lord with
others of all ages in small groups. Learning to Abide in, Meditate upon and to
Obey God's Word is the primary goal of Discipleship at FBC. |
